The collapsing US military & economic empire is making Washington & NATO even more dangerous. US could not beat the Taliban but thinks it can take on China-Russia-Iran...a sign of psychopathology for sure. We must all do more to help stop this western corporate arrogance that puts the future generations lives in despair. @BruceKGagnon

BIW Destroyer Protest Video

On April 1st, 2017, nine peace activists were arrested while blocking the entrance to the "Christening" ceremony for a new Aegis destroyer at Bath Iron Works, a leading US naval shipyard owned by General Dynamics.

Aegis destroyers are an important coordinating and missile-carrying component in US nuclear and conventional war strategy.  These warships are being sent by the Pentagon to help encircle Russia and China causing much instability around the globe.

The activists and their supporters contended that the money spent on these expensive weapons systems is immoral, and that the shipyard's workers -- and the world -- would be better served if they produced high-speed trains, solar, wind turbines, and tidal power generators.
